Cheats for the
TUT: THE STORY OF MY IMMORTAL LIFE

Okay, I admit it. Sometimes I check game cheats. There is no shame in that.

If you choose to try playing without cheats, a quick tip:
* Write down all the Egyptian hieroglyphs you see. There are 2 different codes of 4 hieroglyphs each, and 9 more separate hieroglyphs on the text pages between screens. Just a note that the codes are not the same from one play to another.

If you want to play a particular room only, when the game starts, type "z" and then type a number 0-9.
My favorite rooms to play are the teleporter rooms.

Okay, the cheats for the various rooms are below. Have fun :)

The First Room: The Entry Stairs
The Second Room: The Main Corridor
The Third Room: The Antechamber Part 1

The First Room: The Entry Stairs

It's the first room. Pretty basic. Pretty easy. Avoid the ghost mummy!



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Collecting all the gold will get you an extra life.
* The gold may move around from time to time.
* Don't get caught by the mummy ghost!
* If the mummy ghost starts out in a really annoying spot, restart. You are on the first room after all.

The Second Room: The Main Corridor

Again, a kind of simple room. I love the sound the spiders make when you squash them.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Squash all the spiders to move the stone away from the exit.
* Sometimes it's tricky getting the spiders, so waiting for where they will be can help.

The Third Room: The Antechamber Part 1

Hope you wrote down those codes because now you actually get to use them! All of a sudden, you have to think! The first code you saw will unlock the first block. The second code will unlock the second block.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Turn on cheat codes by pressing "y" at any time. Turn them off the same way.
* Use Code 1 to get through the first stone block. Use Code 2 for the second stone block.
* You have four chances to get a code correct before you die.

The Fourth Room: The Antechamber Part 2

You're in one of the teleporter rooms! There are two of these rooms, and they are my absolute favorites.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Each teleporter will bring you to a different location on the map.
* Head for Teleporter 7.
* Once you get to Teleporter 7, always head for the outside of the map. This will lead you out.

The Fifth Room: The Small Tunnel

You made it to the small tunnel, which looks pretty easy at first. But if you don't escape fast enough, the lights will start to dim!



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* If you type "t" it will make the lights come back on, but...
* ...typing "t" will also make the mummy appear in a random location, so be careful!
* Follow the path shown above to escape.

The Sixth Room: The Annex

The Annex is the first time where you need to click on the screen to proceed. Clicking on the Eygptian gods is the way to get through this room. Relax! There is a way out. Also, prepare yourself because there is a second room like this later on that is much harder.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Points A, B, C, and D on the map start either randomly blocked or cleared.
* Point E will only become cleared when A, B, C, and D are all cleared.
* Clicking on the 4 Egyptian gods will change whether A, B, C, and D are blocked or cleared.
* Egyptian god 0 will change Points A and D.
* Egyptian god 1 will change Points A, B, and D.
* Egyptian god 2 will change Points B and C.
* Egyptian god 3 will change Points A, B, and C.

The Seventh Room: The Burial Chamber Part 1

You're in the second of the two teleporter rooms! Even harder than the first, it's a ton of fun.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Each teleporter will bring you to a different location on the map.
* Head for either Teleporter 22 or 28, then head for Teleporter 2.
* Once you use Teleporter 2, always head for the outside of the map. This will lead you out.
* Teleporters 3 and 29 will bring you back to the start, so watch out for those!

The Eighth Room: The Burial Chamber Part 2

You're finally in the burial chamber. This is the second room where you need to click on the screen to proceed. Clicking on the colored hieroglyphs is the way to get through this room. This is way harder than the first room like this, but don't give up!



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Points A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H on the map start either randomly blocked or cleared.
* Point I will only become cleared when A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are all cleared.
* Clicking on the 9 colored hieroglyphs will change whether A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are blocked or cleared.
* Hieroglyph 0 (red) will change Points A, C, and E.
* Hieroglyph 1 (green) will change Points B, D, and F.
* Hieroglyph 2 (blue) will change Points A and B.
* Hieroglyph 3 (yellow) will change Points B, G, and H.
* Hieroglyph 4 (purple) will change Points A, D, and G.
* Hieroglyph 5 (lime) will change Points C and G.
* Hieroglyph 6 (orange) will change Points C, F, and H.
* Hieroglyph 7 (aqua) will change Points E and F.
* Hieroglyph 8 (pink) will change Points D and H.

* You can work through this one logically or you can...
* ...randomly click and try to clear everything, or...
* ...randomly click until you block all the points and then click Blue, Lime, Aqua, and Pink.

The Ninth Room: The Treasury Part 1

Welcome to the Treasury! This room is like Room One and Room Two combined. Avoid the ghost mummy, and capture all the spiders to escape.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Squash all the spiders to move the stone away from the exit.
* Sometimes it's tricky getting the spiders, so waiting for where they will be can help.
* Don't get caught by the mummy ghost!

The Tenth Room: The Treasury Part 2

You're almost there! Don't give up. This room requires you to have written down a nine character code, with each character showing up in order on the in-between rooms text screens.



Key Tips to Surviving and Escaping the room:
* Turn on cheat codes by pressing "y" at any time. Turn them off the same way.
* Use Code 3 to decipher the code and unlock the stone block.
* You have four chances to get the code correct before you die.
* Once the code is solved and the block is gone, use the teleporters to get out.
